Objection by my master...
The magistrate's order to play at Sen(black) against Sanchi came to master Doetsu as a bolt from the blue and moreover it was only two days before to play in Oshiro(Castle).
Honinbo family had not any information of it. Doetsu immediately objected to the magistrate office(Jisha-bugyo) and demanded the Sogo(Arasoi-Go) with Sanchi that he had not yet played against Sanchi and also both he and Sanchi were a same rating, Sen-aisen(black,black,white), against Santetsu and Chitetsu.
The officer scared him to be banished to a distant island if he lost, because Sanchi's promotion was same as Shogun's will.
However he insisted to carry out the Sogo owing to keep family's honor and still more avenge an interference for Honinbo II, San'etsu's promotion on Sanchi.
