Story 20

2nd Meijin-Gogokoro...

Nakamura Doseki and his younger fellow, Rokuzou(later Yasui Santetsu I) were both Sansa's leading pupil. Doseki was a person of noble character and distinguished himself as a successor.
He beat Rigen, Sansa's old rival, by 7-wins than losses in 30 games on 1608. Against Santetsu he had 40-wins than losses in 120 matches in the presence of Hidetada, Tokugawa Shogun II, who was also an enthusiast of Go and very fond of Doseki vs. Santetsu match in Nijyou-jyo(castle) when he visited on Kyoto.
When Sansa realized the seriousness of his condition, he promoted Doseki to Meijin and nominated him as the Godokoro.
Agaist Chitetsu-dono many times I played. In both games I tried thickeness to center and he intended to invade. Please enjoy the offensive and defensive fighting.
